Thich Nhat Hanh – 4 Life-Changing Books from the World-Renowned Zen master
Today is a very special day on my blog; I am officially in book reviewing and sharing my experience with the works of the best authors in the world.
My first blog post in this category I am honored to dedicate to a Vietnamese Thiền Buddhist monk and peace activist, founder of the Plum Village Tradition – Thich Nhat Hanh.
With over 100 books published, Thich Nhat Hanh is all times advocate for peace and a tireless promoter of nonviolent conflict solutions. Vegeterian. And probably one of the most spiritually engaged people of our time.
Mindfulness became my passion just a few years ago. Yet, my path from discovering this phenomenon to actually applying it to my life was not simple or fast at all.
It started with:
You Are Here: Discovering the Magic of the Present Moment by Thich Nhat Hanh
Quote: ‘Happiness can be attained by letting go, including letting go of your ideas about happiness.’
Thich Nhat Hanh writes simple about the most important things, and sincerity with which he shares his knowledge is simply brilliant.
You Are Here became my start-point to a more mindful living, some kind of guideline on overcoming my fears and sorrows, healing emotional pain, and my all times teacher on the path of acquainting with the core of human existence - soul.
If you are interested in spiritual growth, or searching a way out of your emotional struggles, this book can become a real treasure for you.
